Why am I drawing?

Recently, I have been drawing more often. As you can see, I drew my daughter, Lili. It's fun! But that's not the only reason I do it. I draw because I want to leave something behind—a proof that I existed in this world.

Since I was a child, I was never outstanding. I was just an average girl. Even as an adult, that didn’t change. I remained average—or maybe even less than that.

I used to work full-time, but it didn’t last long due to my workplace’s business situation. By the time I was over 35, I realized how difficult it was to find a full-time job.

So, I started working as a part-time teacher. But sometimes, I feel like a shadow—almost invisible to others, as if I don’t really matter.

Still, I want to find the right place for myself. What is my strength?

Looking back, I used to draw in my notebooks as a child. I mostly drew my cat.So now, I’ve started drawing my current cat.
